END TECHNOLOGIST
Job Description:
Position is required to perform routine, ambulatory, and long term monitoring on all ages, utilizing the 10/20 system of measurement.
Travel to different offices and locations is required due to our mobile services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform EEG tests as described above
- Operate and store EEG equipment
- Read EEG's and mark abnormalities to aid doctor in review
- Interact and care for patients and clients of all ages
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Maintain compliance with American Society of EEG Technology guidelines as well as Innovative Healthcare Services' standards
- Keep organized history on outpatients and inpatients
- Must be able to lift, pull and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to react calmly to emergency situations and keep patients calm if necessary
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Program (END)
- 1 - 3 years of experience preferred
- Experience with evoked potential a plus
Certification:
- CPR Certified
Necesarry Skills:
- Understanding of EEG equipment, procedures and practices
- Kindness required for daily interaction with patients, doctors, visitors and clients
- Ability to work independently
- Ability and social skills to work with patients of all ages
- Excellent attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- Local travel required
- Flexible schedule necessary
- Valid drivers license for travel
